French Deception formed out of a love of art and music, with the intent of playing some blues, Australian rock, mixed in with some cool originals and a touch of humour. Dominique Maurice giving voice to the songs on lead vocals and solid rhythm guitar and JP Vernon laying down solid grooves on bass guitar and backing vocals. Dominique has over 30 years playing in various bands and working solo, she is the winner of the Tamworth Songwriting Award 2024 for Best Country Blues song. JP has been playing music and has had a career playing in Japan, Canada and Australia for the last 30 years in a variety of bands. French Deception are duo with boundless energy and hints of fun that provide great entertainment at any location.
